Blades, Joe Bio
Joe Blades is a Fredericton, NB-based writer and artist on the editorial board of ellipse magazine. He is the founding publisher of Broken Jaw Press and he is the current Vice President—Membership Chair of the League of Canadian Poets.
Blades has given readings, lectures, and workshops across Canada, in the USA, Scotland, and Eastern Europe. He is a community radio producer-host at CHSR with the award-winning weekly Ashes, Paper & Beans: Fredericton’s Writing and Art program since 1995.
He is the editor of ten publications, curator of a videopoem screening, and author of five poetry books, including River Suite and the forthcoming Casemate Poems (Collected). Two of his books have been translated and published in Serbian editions.
