For one night only, these two litterary series unite to offer some memorable and exclusive multilingual live Spoken Word performances with the unique support of Live Organic Improv by KALMUNITY VIBE COLLECTIVE musicians. Montréal and Toronto's voices echo one another in a surprising and soulfoul poetic dialogue.
This feature presentation will take place in the lovely Diese Onze Jazz Restaurant, in Montréal.
Come experiment the mythical feel of UFTR's signature readings, these have been animating Toronto's scene for more than 15 years now, and come feel the friendly inclusiveness of Noches de poesia's community, we have been gathering poets and friends in Montréal for 4 years now. Tonight, we invite you to hear the great Dwayne Morgan (Founder of Up From The Roots Entertainment performing in French, English and Spanish, along side his famous vocalist Lorraine Reid (7 times Juno Nominee). And just before that, make sure to catch some of Montréal's best: the one and only D.Kimm with Omar Alexis Ramos, both will deliver their stories and words in French and Spanish live with musical improv.
Do not miss this special occasion where internationaly acclaimed performers share this one stage. Note: CDs, DVDs and books (some of these are not usually available in Montréal) will be sold on the premises. Raffle prizes will also be drawn.
