Louise Fabiani, Montreal writer, photographer and naturalist, was born in Toronto. She graduated from McGill University with a B.Sc. in biology. Since obtaining a Master’s in Environmental Studies from York University in 1992, she has worked as a freelance science writer and book reviewer.

Her poetry, reviews, and articles have appeared in Canadian Geographic, The Gazette, The McGill News, The Toronto Star, and several literary magazines in Canada and the U.S. Her first book of poetry, The Green Alembic, was published by Signal Editions in 1999. Since then, she has completed two novels, a second poetry collection, and many short stories.

Louise is currently seeking publishers for most of this work, and would love to see at least a few of her poems translated into French, Spanish, or Italian.
